Read out of a register, and not in the family tree
Luce Perković, wife of Tomo Hofjevac (1898)
Birth of a child, 30 March 1898, Brinje, Croatia — mother of Hofjevac Bare, of Brinje house 248 - a second Perković woman married into the Hofjevac family, not in the tree.
The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other
person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists
because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than
put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it.

What the register says
- Event
- birth of a child
- Date
- 30 March 1898
- Place
- Brinje, Croatia
- Citation
- FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih (third item on the same film as DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 416 (entered as 416 in the viewer), entry no. 28 - "HOFJEVAC BARE", female, born 30 and registered 31 March 1898, of Brinje house 248 (the first pass logged the house as 249), daughter of HOFJEVAC TOMO and a mother whose surname is written in the hand's 'Perkonić' form, given name LUCE, both of Brinje, farmers, Croats. Informants "Hofjevac Marko i Bare", matičar Sertić Šimun; a later marginal note, not fully legible, refers to a marriage of 1963. NOT IN THE TREE. FOUND AS A MIS-FILING ON 5 OCTOBER 2026: the earlier log recorded this entry as 'Hofjevac Tomo x Perhonić Luce - Perhonić confirmed again as the established near-miss, not Perković'. The hand writes v like n, so the mother's surname is Perković, the same form as the Perković Kate who married Jure Hofjevac at house 148 (image 345, this file). That makes TWO Perković women who married into the Hofjevac family at Brinje - Kate (Jure Hofjevac, house 148, 1896) and Luce (Tomo Hofjevac, house 248, 1898) - the alliance this file's Hofjevac-Borić marriages already hint at. Whether the two women were sisters or the husbands were brothers the entries do not say; no merge is made.
