Manole Kalanj, daughter of Jerko Kalanj and Krnarić Ruže

Baptism, 11 November 1899, Brinje, Croatia — daughter of Kalanj Jerko (given name read Jerok) and Krnarić Ruže, of Brinje house 188 - a second Kalanj household at that house number - not in the tree.

The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it. FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih (third item on the same film as DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S, entries numbering within calendar year 1899), image 481, entry no. 131 - "KALANJ MANOLE", female, born 11 and registered 13 November 1899, of Brinje house 188, daughter of KALANJ JEROK (Jerko) and KRNARIĆ RUŽE. Witnesses Bišanić Jerok i Dubčić Manda (surname read with some doubt), matičar Sertić Šimun. NOT IN THE TREE. A NEW KALANJ FATHER: Jerko, not Viol, Niko, Jure, Mile, Mijo or Mate, as the Kalanj men in this file are named. House 188 is where this file already places Marija Kalanj, born 13 March 1899 to Kalanj Viol and Zoričić Kate (this file) - a different father and a different mother, eight months apart, at the same house number: two Kalanj households sharing house 188, the same shape this file keeps meeting with Borić households at Kamenica 23 and 24. The surname here reads Kalanj clearly in this hand, and the mother's Krnarić is one of the surnames Borić women also marry into. Not merged with the Viol Kalanj household.
