Read out of a register, and not in the family tree
Maria Kosinar the elder
Death, 27 February 1816, "Zubern" 4, župnija Kranj-Šmartin — a Kosinar woman born about 1738 - the oldest of the name yet reached - UNPLACED.
The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other
person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists
because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than
put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it.

What the register says
- Event
- death
- Date
- 27 February 1816
- Place
- "Zubern" 4, župnija Kranj-Šmartin
- Citation
- Mrliška knjiga Kranj-Šmartin 1812-1835 book p.34 - "Den 27 [Februar 1816] · Z[ubern] · 4 · MARIA KOZINAR · Häubl · katholisch · weiblich · ALTER 78 Jahre · Altersschwäche". SEVENTY-EIGHT, of old age, which puts her birth at about 1738 and makes her the oldest person of this name the archive has reached - a generation above Franz and Matthäus, who were born about 1775 and 1774. She is therefore a CANDIDATE FOR THEIR MOTHER and nothing more: the village is not Feichting, no husband is named, and this book names no parents. THE VILLAGE IS NOT SECURELY READ. It is written the same way twice on this page, house 4 both times, and at 9x it reads "Zubern" or "Luberan"; it is recorded as the clerk wrote it rather than resolved into a modern name. She is the SECOND of the two «Kozina Maria - 34» the index lists for 1816; the other is Franz's nine-month-old daughter. Matricula, NSAL sig. 00894 image 18, sig. 04634 image 126
