Baptism, 18 March 1895, Brinje, Croatia — daughter of Ive Borić and Matija Borić, of Brinje house 141 - not in the tree.

The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it. FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1893-1897 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 286, entry no. 29 - "BORIĆ MARICA", female, born 18 March 1895, of Brinje house 141, daughter of BORIĆ IVE and BORIĆ MATIJA - the mother's own maiden surname is also entered as Borić, a second Borić-marries-Borić pairing at this exact house number. Witnesses Marković Mile i Kate. NOT IN THE TREE. A PUZZLE, STATED PLAINLY: this is the same house number already in this file for Juraj (1888), Petar (1890), Matija (1892) and Ove (1894), children of BORIĆ TOME and BORIĆ JELA - but here the father is entered as Ive, not Tome, and the mother as Matija, not Jela. The 1892 birth (Matija Borić, this file) already carried an uncertain reading of the mother's name as "Matija," the same as the child's own name - whether that earlier entry, this one, or both point to a mother genuinely named Matija, a second Borić-Borić household sharing house 141, or a scribal confusion between two households is not established.
