Read out of a register, and not in the family tree
Marija Borić, wife of Frane Jurajić
Birth of a child, 10 August 1891, Brinje, Croatia — mother of Jurajić Ivo, of Brinje - not in the tree.
The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other
person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists
because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than
put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it.

- FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1888-1900 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 137, entry no. 78 - the birth of "JURAJIĆ IVO", male, names his mother's maiden surname as "BORIĆ MARIJA". A witness on the same entry is "BORIĆ GRGO". NOT IN THE TREE. A fourth Borić woman married out of the surname (after the one at house 141 who married a Borić man, and the one who married into Vičić) - and a new Borić given name, Grgo, as witness alongside her. CORRECTION OF 5 OCTOBER 2026 ON THE FULL READABLE-ZOOM RE-READ OF IMAGE 137 (left-hand page, first entry; page 256): the child is 'JURAJIĆ JURAJ' (Juraj), male, born 10 and registered 12 August 1891, of Brinje house 296, son of JURAJIĆ FRANE and BORIĆ MARIJA - not 'Ivo' as the fit-zoom reading gave. The informants' line is 'Borić Grgo i Luce' (the Grgo Borić this row already names, now with a Luce), and a later margin note records his death on 18 August 1917. So this household, Frane Jurajić x Marija Borić of house 296, has THREE children on record: a girl of 1888 (read 'Vranić Ane', house 266, image 17), Marija (September 1889, image 67) and Juraj (1891), with house numbers 266 and 296 differing by one digit. The Frane Jurajić of the 1888 entry is therefore this man, and the surname 'Vranić' of that entry is the first pass's misreading of Jurajić.
