Read out of a register, and not in the family tree
Mate Kalanj and Manole, informants at Brinje house 176 (1896)
Witness at a baptism, 19 July 1896, Brinje, Croatia — named as informants at the birth of Krnarić Marko, of Brinje house 176 - not in the tree.
The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other
person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists
because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than
put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it.

- FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1893-1897 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 343 (left-hand page, first entry; page 288), entry no. 78 - the informants are written "Kalanj Mate i (surname unclear) Manole". The third time a Kalanj Mate stands at the house-176 Krnarić household (November 1893 with Luce, this file; and in August 1894 with Kate Šebalj at another birth), always with a different wife's name (Luce, Kate, Manole): so either a Kalanj Mate who is much married, or several Kalanj men called Mate, or the second name is a different kin each time; the entries do not say. A Kalanj Mate is also the eldest-named son of Jure Kalanj x Vičić Ane at house 249 (Mate, January 1890, this file); not merged.
