- FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1888-1900 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 86 (right-hand page, second entry; page 155), entry no. 9 - "KALANJ MATE", male, born 17 and registered 19 January 1890, of Brinje house 249, son of KALANJ JURE and a mother whose surname is written Vičić (the form this file also reads Vučić or Vučetić), given name ANE, both of Brinje, farmers, Croats. Informants "Vučetić Joso i Rumenović Stoja", matičar Sertić Šimun. NOT IN THE TREE. FOUND ON 5 OCTOBER 2026 ON THE FULL READABLE-ZOOM RE-READ, and it changes how the Kalanj households of house 231 and 249 read. A Kalanj Jure with a Vučetić/Vičić Ane at house 249 in January 1890 cannot be the Jure Kalanj of house 231, whose wife Vučetić Manole bore Luce in November (or December) 1889: two children seven weeks apart cannot share a mother. So there are TWO Jure Kalanj households with Vučetić-family wives: house 231 (wife Manole: Luce 1889, Marija 1891, Ove 1894, Ruže 1899) and house 249 (wife Ane: Mate 1890, and very probably Marko 1892 and the Jure of 1896, this file). The informants Vučetić Joso (this entry) and Vučetić Joso (the 1896 Jure entry) are the same name and suggest the house-249 wife's own family; Rumenović Stoja appears at both houses and is not a Kalanj. Not merged with the house-231 Jure.
