Read out of a register, and not in the family tree
Mijo Kalanj
Marriage, 15 February 1892, Brinje, Croatia — SON OF KALANJ LJUBERT (as read) AND RUŽE, widower, of Brinje house 249 - brother, by his father's name, of Jure Kalanj of house 249 - not in the tree.
The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other
person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists
because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than
put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it.

Witnesses KALANJ MATE and Krnarić Franjo; officiant Šrobi Šimun. THE FATHER IS THE SAME 'KALANJ LJU-' AS IN THE MARRIAGE OF JURE KALANJ OF HOUSE 249 (19 November 1888, image 505, this file): Mijo and Jure are sons of the same man and woman at the same house, so brothers. THE DATE ENDS THE ANE KALANJ CONTRADICTION: Ane was born on 20 December 1892, ten months after this wedding. NOT IN THE TREE. A second Brinje address for the surname: Niko and Juro Kalanj (this file) are of house 231; Mijo, born about 1838 and the oldest-born Kalanj this archive has a year for, is of house 249, with a further Kalanj - Mate - standing witness. Three named Kalanj men now, across two houses, independent of the coastal Klenovica line the tree already holds. Whether either Brinje household connects to Josephus Kalanj, whose 1864 baptism first sent this archive to the parish, remains unestablished.
