Read out of a register, and not in the family tree
Mile Kalanj and Luce, informants at Plašćica house 10 (1896)
Witness at a baptism, 9 January 1896, Plašćica, Brinje parish, Croatia — named as informants at the birth of Smolčić Stjepan, of Plašćica house 10 - not in the tree.
The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other
person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists
because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than
put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it.

- FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1893-1897 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 324 (right-hand page, first entry; page 251), entry no. 4 - the informants are written "Kalanj Mile i Luce". The child is SMOLČIĆ STJEPAN, male, born 4 and registered 9 January 1896, of Plašćica house 10, son of Smolčić Ive and Lasić Marta. A Mile (Mijo) Kalanj is named as informant in several Brinje-parish births of these years (this file); Luce was the name of the wife who stood with 'Kalanj Mate' at Krnarić Vid's birth (November 1893, this file), so the informants may be a Mile and a Mate with wives of the same name, or one family; the entries do not say. FOUND ON 5 OCTOBER 2026 ON THE FULL READABLE-ZOOM RE-READ OF THE SECOND BIRTHS BOOK (1893-1897).
