The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it. FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1888-1900 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 37, entry no. 113 - "KALANJ MILE", male, born 21 and registered 25 October 1888, of Brinje house 188, son of KALANJ TOME and KALANJ MARIJA, both of Brinje, farmers, Croats. Informants "Perkić Mijo i Dražičević Janja", matičar Kanett Rafael. NOT IN THE TREE. FOUND ON 5 OCTOBER 2026 ON THE FULL READABLE-ZOOM RE-READ; the first pass logged this stretch as read and did not record it. The house (188), father (Tome) and mother's given name (Marija) are those of the Tome Kalanj household whose 1891 son Petar is already in this file, where the mother is written Nesić Marija: here the mother's own surname is written Kalanj, which is either a second Marija, a wife entered under her husband's surname, or a misreading of one of the two entries, and the entries do not say which. Recorded as the first child of that household on name, father and house, not merged as a proven household. The name Mile is also that of the Mile Kalanj who is father of Franc Kalanj at house 231 in 1899 (this file), not merged either. SEE THE 1891 ENTRY (Petar Kalanj, image 152): the mother there is MESIĆ Marija, and 'Kalanj Marija' here is probably the same woman entered under her husband's surname.
