Milka Borić, witness at Brinje house 289

Witness at a baptism, 1 November 1899, Brinje, Croatia — witness to the baptism of Sertić Manole, of Brinje - not in the tree.

The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it. What the register says

Event
witness at a baptism
Date
1 November 1899
Place
Brinje, Croatia
Citation
FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih (third item on the same film as DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S, entries numbering within calendar year 1899), image 478, entry no. 120 - the baptism of "SERTIĆ MANOLE", female, of Brinje house 289, daughter of Sertić Pave and Borić Luce, names "BORIĆ MILKA" as a witness alongside Hofjevac Niko. NOT IN THE TREE. THE SAME NAME TWO WEEKS BEFORE ANOTHER SIGHTING: on 15 November 1899 a Borić Milka stood witness at Brinje house 154 beside Jelačić Niko at the baptism of Hofjevac Ive, son of Hofjevac Niko and Marija Borić (this file); here, on 1 November, she stands beside Hofjevac Niko himself. The two sightings are close enough in time, and share Hofjevac Niko closely enough, to read as one woman - probably a kinswoman of Marija Borić, Niko Hofjevac's wife - but the register does not say so and the two rows are not merged.
