Read out of a register, and not in the family tree
Niko Hofjenc, son of Niko Hofjenc and Marija Borić
Baptism, 11 October 1893, Brinje, Croatia — son of Niko Hofjenc and Marija Borić, of Brinje - not in the tree.
The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other
person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists
because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than
put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it.

- FamilySearch, Croatia Church Books 1516-1994, Brinje Matična knjiga rođenih 1893-1897 (DGS 005498262, waypoint 9R26-82S), image 227, entry no. 113 - "HOFJENC NIKO", male, of Brinje, son of HOFJENC NIKO and BORIĆ MARIJA. A witness on the same entry is again "BORIĆ MARIJA", alongside Draženović Ive. NOT IN THE TREE. This confirms the marriage already in this file from the Vjenčani book (image 564): Marija Borić, spinster, 19, of Brinje house 142, daughter of Niko Borić, married Hofjenc Niko around 1892-93. A child within about a year is exactly the timeline that marriage implies - the first direct confirmation the marriage actually took place and produced a family. The witness sharing her exact name is left unexplained: possibly the mother herself entered twice, possibly a second Marija Borić, not established.
