Read out of a register, and not in the family tree
Petar Kalanj, son of Tome Kalanj and Nesić Marija
Baptism, 14 November 1891, Brinje, Croatia — son of Tome Kalanj and Nesić (read with some doubt) Marija, of Brinje house 188 - a third Kalanj household at that house number - not in the tree.
The family tree has never heard of this person. Every other
person page in this archive is a record the MyHeritage export holds. This one is not: it exists
because the register was read at the page, and it is kept beside the tree rather than
put into it. The tree is an export and this archive does not edit it.

Witnesses Perlić Mijo (the near-miss) i Dražanović Marija, matičar Sertić Šimun. NOT IN THE TREE. A THIRD KALANJ FATHER at house 188 after Viol (Kate 1890, Pave 1892, Marija 1899, this file) and Jerko (Manole 1899, this file): Tome. House 188 is now a Kalanj house with three heads in eight years. Not merged with either. CORRECTION OF 5 OCTOBER 2026 ON THE FULL READABLE-ZOOM RE-READ OF IMAGE 152 (left-hand page, first entry; page 292, entry no. 150): the mother's surname is written MESIĆ, not Nesić. 'Kalanj Petar', male, born 14 and registered 15 November 1891, of Brinje house 188, son of KALANJ TOME and MESIĆ MARIJA; informants 'Perkić Mijo i Dražičević Marica'. The row keeps its name; the mother is Mesić Marija. The Tome Kalanj household at house 188 therefore has a mother Marija (Mesić) in 1891 and, in the first child Mile (October 1888, this file), a mother entered as 'Kalanj Marija': most probably one woman whose maiden name was Mesić and whom the 1888 clerk entered under her husband's surname. DIED AGED 3 ON 18 OCTOBER 1894, ALMOST CERTAINLY: see the death row 'Petar Kalanj, son of Tome Kalanj and Marija, died aged 3 (house 181 as read, 1894)' in this file (Umrli, image 201, entry 111 of 1894; the house reads 181 there, 188 here).
