How this person is attached

Connected to this family only through a sorting label

Every route from Hedviga to this person passes through a sorting label — a working note sitting where an ancestor should be. This is not a claim that the person is invented; the register entries behind them are real. It is a statement about the join. Why this matters →

Attachment to this family

The tree saysMother of five, the last Martha in 1861
The record saysBorn 1810 — fifty-one at Martha's birth, and eleven years older than her husband

Her first four arrive 1848, 1851, 1853, 1854, then nothing for seven years. Fifty-one is improbable rather than impossible, so this is recorded as doubtful and not as a finding. It also cannot be settled the usual way: the Otočac baptisms are filmed from 1834 to 1858 and Martha's 1861 falls outside the film. The eleven-year gap to Joannes, born 1821, is the second oddity and may be the same error seen twice. Read it →

Family

a direct ancestor a record has been read for them an image, not yet read from the family tree, unverified

The mark describes the person, not the link. Of the 6 relatives drawn here, 0 have a document of their own in this archive — but that is not the same as a document tying them to this person. This archive holds no separate proof for most parent–child links; where it does, the note above this chart says so in words.

Where this sits in the family

Not on the direct line. They are published because they belong to one of the eight surnames this archive follows.

The register spells this surname more than one way, and the search folds the forms together — so Xubrinich and Žubrinić, Joannis and Ivan, find each other.

Sources attached in the tree

None. This person carries no source string at all in the tree. They may still be right — but nothing here can be checked without going to the register. Method →

An online family tree is a witness, not a source. Where a citation points at a parish register or a FamilySearch image, that is the thing worth going to. Sources →
