The mark describes the person, not the link. Of the 6 relatives drawn here, 5 have a document of their own in this archive — but that is not the same as a document tying them to this person. This archive holds no separate proof for most parent–child links; where it does, the note above this chart says so in words. 1 is judged living and withheld from this build entirely.

What the registers say about Antun / Anton

YearDocument The citation, in the register's own words
1940s photograph A studio portrait sent by the family 21 September 2026, photos/line/9000001-antun-kosina-priest-portrait.jpg — a young man in a black cassock and a ROMAN COLLAR, head and shoulders, sepia. It is vlč. Ante Kosina in clerical dress, and on the evidence of his age it is close to his ordination, so about the late 1940s. The file WAS NOT in this archive for several hours — shown, read and transcribed, with no image behind the transcription. It was added to the media library the same day as sources/media/local.psv row 9000001 notes/otilija-died-in-november-and-neda-was-the-raid.md
1958-1985 published-account German-Croatian church press, read 21 September 2026 — «Na područje Ludwigshafena je 1958. iz Rima došao vlč. Anton Kosina», a priest of the then RIJEKA-SENJ ARCHDIOCESE, who settled near Kaiserslautern when there were only SIX Croatian priests in all of Germany; from 1967 he was voditelj of the HRVATSKA KATOLIČKA MISIJA LUDWIGSHAFEN FROM ITS FOUNDING UNTIL 1985, succeeded by fra Ljubo Sesar on 1 August 1985. Two independent outlets written for the mission's 50th anniversary in 2017: croexpress.eu «50 godina HKM Ludwigshafen» and nedjelja.ba «Ludwigshafen: 50 misijskih godina». NOT A REGISTER — a published account, and it corroborates the family's own account of Senj, Rome and Germany without having seen it notes/anton-kosina-founded-a-mission-in-ludwigshafen.md
2003 grave Senj, the same stone, same image read at 4x — «VLČ. ANTE ✻1921 †2003», vlč. for velečasni, Reverend. It confirms in stone that the eldest surviving son was a priest, and it is the same «pop Ante Kosina» who restored Tereza Žubrinić's grave in 1991 notes/otilija-died-in-november-and-neda-was-the-raid.md

Where this sits in the family

Not on the direct line. They are published because they belong to one of the eight surnames this archive follows.

The register spells this surname more than one way, and the search folds the forms together — so Xubrinich and Žubrinić, Joannis and Ivan, find each other.

Sources attached in the tree

None. This person carries no source string at all in the tree. They may still be right — but nothing here can be checked without going to the register. Method →

An online family tree is a witness, not a source. Where a citation points at a parish register or a FamilySearch image, that is the thing worth going to. Sources →
