This chart is the direct line and nothing else. Brothers and sisters are not drawn here: this archive records kin against a NAME rather than against a person, so the family on a name page may belong to several different people of that name. Where it is drawn it is read from the direct line, person by person.

What the archive knows

A singer at the Hotel Therapia, Crikvenica — family testimony, 10 September 2026, and the likeliest explanation of how a Senj woman met a Crikvenica man. Daughter of Ljubomir «Ljubo» Blažević, 1892–1966, and Milka Lucia Papić, 1886–1971. Born at Senj and died at Johannesburg, 30 October 2001, of cancer. Born 3 August 1926. The archive carried two dates — 8 March and 3 August, a day and month transposed — and preferred neither. David's own tree gives 3 August, so that is what this archive now says, marked as coming from the tree rather than from a register. The Senj birth register of 1926 would settle it for good and is on the errands. And she did not go straight to Johannesburg. The tree gives her immigration in April 1975, from Zimbabwe — Rhodesia as it then was, in the middle of its war. This archive has drawn her route as Senj → Johannesburg and there is a country in the middle of it that nobody had written down. She married again about 1973, and the tree names two later husbands: Santou (Shemtov) Isaac Codron, 1913–1997, and Ladislav Carr. Ivan stayed on his own coast and is buried at Senj; the divorce the family put at about 1969 now has a shape around it. tree — not yet a document.
