The family

No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.

What the archive knows

The tree and this archive disagree about the DEATH year by 21 years, and that is the serious kind. Tree 1878, here 1857; the birth agrees. A death year is usually the better-evidenced of the two, so a gap this wide means one side is describing a different person's death — most often a namesake in the same parish. This needs the burial register, not a judgement. (20 Sept 2026.) --- ⭐⭐ 6 October 2026 — SETTLED BY THE BURIAL REGISTER, AND THE TREE WAS RIGHT. > Gologorica deaths, image M01069295, page 132: «1878 Decembris 22. · 7 · Josephus Defranceschi, POSSIDENS, munitus SS. et sepultus die 24. Dec. 1878 · 70 · Senectus» Seventy on 22 December 1878 closes on his birth of 13 March 1808 — seventy years and nine months. At 22 December 1857 he would have been forty-nine. The death year moves 1857 → 1878 and the pid is re-declared. (doc.) ⚠ AND NOTICE WHAT WAS ALREADY RIGHT: the day and the month. This archive had 22 December; the register has 22 December. Only the decade was wrong. ⭐ That is the second time today. Clementina Maria Defranceschi carried 10 March 1840 where the register gives 10 March 1870 — same day, same month, wrong decade, and the tree right. Two for two, both flagged with the same note, both resolved the same way. A third row carries that note and is still open.* He died at house 7, the «civis» and «possidens» house, as his kin did in 1848, 1850, 1863, 1866 and 1870.
