The family

No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.

What the archive knows

Born 14 November 1843, baptised on the 15th — where this archive had «about 1843». Gologorica baptisms, folio 104 (M01069118): «9bris 15 · domus 5 · TERESIA nata 14 hujus», of «Antonius Defranceschi» and «Francisca»; godparents «Antonio Salamon et Maria soror», entered cives. (doc — DAPA ZM34K-214.)* Her father is the Antonius of house 6 whom the 1826 census showed to be Leonardus's adopted nephew, not his son; by 1843 the household is numbered 5. Her mother is the Francisca who came «Ex Parochia Gallignanæ sub N.º 5» and married him on 29 January 1840. ✔ This archive held TWO rows for this one child — `teresia-defranceschi-1843` and `theresia-defranceschi-1843`, one spelt with an h. Resolved 5 October 2026 by marking the second `sameAs` this one, which is what twenty-nine other duplicate pairs in this roster already do: both addresses stay alive, neither id moves, and the count stops lying. The register names her TERESIA, without the h. ⭐ Her godfather's surname was TESTED before it was published, and it survives. This archive withdrew a «Salman» reading four days earlier because the family proved to be Palman. So the word here was set beside the same scribe's own «Franciscus Palman sutor» of 28 April 1841, at one magnification — the plate is published — and they are not the same word: a different initial, seven letters against six, and a medial a between the l and the m that Palman has nowhere. The 1843 word is Salamon. ⚠ That is a lead on the Salomon maternal line, not a connection to it. Tying Antonio Salamon to Gračišće is what would make it one, and nothing yet does. Worklist 174 carries the work.
