- Martina Antonia di Jacobo Defranceschi (1746) — 1746, Svetvinčenat
«Die 31. Martij, 1746. Martina Antonia filia legitima Jacobi Defranceschi, et Pascasia ejus legitima uxoris amborum ex hac Parochia, nata 28 currentis, (de licentia mei infrascripti) baptizata fuit a R.do D.no Petro Tobis Canc.; Patrini fuerunt, D.nus Martinus Peispach ex Dignano, et D.na Seraphina, wife of D.nus Seraphinus.» — born 28 March, baptised 31 March 1746. Magnified and read letter by letter. She is the entry that ends the argument about her father. Two women are now mothers by a Jacobo Defranceschi in full parental entries three years apart — «et Francisca ejus legitimæ uxoris» at Casparus di Jacobo Defranceschi 1743's baptism on 15 June 1743, and «et Pascasia ejus legitima uxoris» here. Both are «ambo ex hac Parochia». Neither is a godparent line. And they interleave rather than succeed one another. Pascasia stands godmother as «uxor Jacobi Defranceschi» on 24 November 1743; Franca Marcario stands godmother in the same formula seven days later, on 1 December 1743; and Francisca is named his wife again in March and December 1752, after Pascasia's children have begun. No widower remarries and is widowed again in a week. So the castle held two contemporary Jacobo de Franceschis — one married to Francisca Marcario, one to Pascasia — and this girl is the second man's daughter. (doc for the act; the separation of the two men is inf, on two series of parental and godparental attestations that overlap.) She also moves her own household back four years. [h107] had run 1750–1759 on four children. It begins in 1746, and she is the eldest. Her godfather comes from Dignano and is styled D.nus. This person has not been written up in an essay yet — most often read straight off a register page that no index anywhere contains. What is known is at the top, and the pages linked above are where the finding sits.
A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
