What the archive knows

David's father's brother. Deceased — the family tree records the death but this archive does not yet hold the date, and will not guess one. The second of the three children of Ivan Defranceski and Hedviga Blažević. Senj and Johannesburg, and no longer an inference. David's live tree gives him born at Senj, died at Johannesburg — which is what this archive had guessed from his wife and daughters being there, and is now read off the tree instead of reasoned towards. Born 1953, the second of Ivan and Hedviga's three children.

Identity here is by name, not by resolved individual. Where two people of one name appear in this archive they share this page, and it is for the reader to keep them apart — the surrounding text usually makes it obvious. Nothing here is new evidence; it is the same evidence, brought together.

This person has not been written up in an essay yet — most often read straight off a register page that no index anywhere contains. What is known is at the top, and the pages linked above are where the finding sits.

A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
