This chart is the direct line and nothing else. Brothers and sisters are not drawn here: this archive records kin against a NAME rather than against a person, so the family on a name page may belong to several different people of that name. Where it is drawn it is read from the direct line, person by person.

One relationship on this chart was never date-tested. This archive refuses a relative whose years do not fit — more than six out for a child, outside twelve to sixty for a parent. Where one side has no year at all that test cannot run, and the link is drawn on the name. It is shown because most people in the early registers carry no year, and refusing them would empty the chart of the centuries this archive exists to show. It is counted here because a line nothing tested is a weaker claim than a line that passed, and the chart cannot tell them apart.

What the archive knows

Daughter of Stefano De Franceschi and Bonetta Vellico q.m Antonio; died 11 March 1829 at house 325, Vodnjan — the first entry read out of the Liber Defunctorum Flagged, 21 September 2026. Carta 76 verso names a Maria as Gio Battista's wife on 23 November 1731, seven months after the baptism this row rests on — and carta 66 gives Giacomo's wife in February 1728 as Elena. She is more likely Gio Battista's second wife than Giacomo's first. Not rewritten: the 9 April 1731 baptism has not been read off the leaf here, and this archive does not correct one unread record with another. (inf.)
