- Francisca de Franceschi, wife of Matteo (fl. 1741–1752) — about 1718, Svetvinčenat
Wife of Matteo Defranceschi of Svetvinčenat, and the mother of the first Defranceschi bride this archive has found. Her children — and this page said «two» until 28 September 2026, when the archive's own households file turned out to know four — Helena, «nata die 5 currentis a Matthæo Defranceschi, et Francisca ejus legitima uxore ambobus ex hac Parochia», born 5 August 1742; and Irena, born 11 February 1752, «Matthæi Defranceschi, et Franciscæ ejus legitimæ uxoris». (doc for both.) She is already named as Matteo's wife in August 1741, so the household stands at the castle across at least eleven years. ⚠ Her name is the one this archive misread. On 28 September 2026 the mother of Casparus 1743 was corrected from «Francisca» to Pascasia — and the test that settled it was her own name in Irena's entry, where the clerk's tall crossed F and narrow minims share not one letterform with «Pascasia» at 7×. She is the control that proved she was not there. See /corrections/. Her daughter Helena married 9 February 1766, by which time Matteo was dead. The act does not name her, alive or dead — this parish does not mention a bride's mother. Born about 1718 — estimated. 28 September 2026 — a third daughter. Fusca marries on 17 November 1773 as «filia q. Mathiæ de Franceschi». Helena, Irena and Fusca — and as at Helena's wedding, the mother is not named, alive or dead. This parish does not mention her. ⚠ A correction this page owed itself. It was written saying she had two known children. [h112] has carried four since before it was written — Helena (1742), Maria (15 October 1745), Victoria (19 September 1749) and Irena (1752) — and Fusca now makes five. The biography was behind the household file, which is the same failure as a correction that does not propagate, running the other way.

This person has not been written up in an essay yet — most often read straight off a register page that no index anywhere contains. What is known is at the top, and the pages linked above are where the finding sits.
A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
